i would like to thank andy and his wife for all the help they gave me to do my cbt, it was so good that i then went on to do my das 10 days later, spot on tranning. if you go with him he will teach you how to ride, not just pass your test, if i had gone with someone else i don't think i would of passed.i have not been on a bike for 18 years,i'm glad i went with andy.it's been 1 day after i passed and i can still hear left lifesaver, LEFT LIFESAVER. thank you andy and your wife for getting me throuhgt my test and meny years of biking.

Andy is the best instructor you could hope to have. From a very shaky start to the week, and I mean VERY shaky, I ended up passing the test first time thanks to Andy's first rate instruction. Always patient and cheerful he has the knack of pushing you just the right amount to maximise learning but without sacrificing any enjoyment. We had constant rain and wind for the whole of the week but it was still great fun thanks to both Andy and wife Sylvie's great sense of humour and many cups of tea!
Most importantly of all Andy has taught me not just to pass the test but to ride a motorcycle safely for the rest of my life - I think I will always hear his voice in my head reminding me of what I need to do every time I approach any kind of junction!
If you're searching around for a DAS course and considering various options, as I was when I found Andy's website, then you don't need to look any longer - you simply could not ask for a better instructor in my opinion!
Cheers Andy!

Andy your a legend!! What can i say, after completing the cbt course with Andy i knew that i had made the right choice to train for my full license with him. After three long days of "mirror" "indicator" "lifesaver" i have passed my test first time with only the one minor(in terrible conditions i might add.)

Andys way of training is second to none, not only is he teaching you to pass the test but to ride the bike in a safe and enjoyable way for the future, his positive attitude and precise, easy to follow instructions gave me the confidence and right attitude to ride. I will always remember this week as it has been fun, informative and utterly unbelievable. I wish you the greatest of luck for the future and new business and a massive THANKYOU!!!!!

Sorry its taken me since september 06 to write a comment, but surely Andys training sticking in my mind for that long is a good thing?
From never riding a bike of any sort to passing my test, with only 4 minors may I add, in just 3 days is surely an even better one!
Andy is a man of very high standards and will not take any less than perfect, I still hear 'LIFESAVER', 'INDICATOR' at every corner or roundabout I come to!
Enjoyed the 3 days of training very much, and also Andys wife makes a cracking cuppa too, what more can I say?

Andy demands high standards and misses nothing. The words "where is your lifesaver?" will be forever embedded on my mind. Good job the radio is only one way!

I completed my CBT with Andy and then went on to my DAS, one to one tuition over 3 days. I passed first time in Dorchester; a lovely run from Ilminster and a perfect antidote to a day's hard graft on the town streets.

Andy has taught me to be positive and confident on the road and especially on the dreaded roundabouts. I feel I have gained a good grounding in motorcycle handling from Andy and feel happy to recomend him. Be prepared for some hard work and critical comment. My partner, an enthusiastic pillion rider since the test will take her CBT with Andy.

Andy, you can have no higher praise than that.

I went to Andy after the school I was training with went into liquidation. By that time I had already failed my test a few times.
Andy gave me a free assesment ride and told me that I needed at least two days intensive training.
It was at this time that I realised I had not really learned that much at all, so I decided to use Andy.
I can't praise Andy highly enough. He taught me how to ride the bike - not just pass the test. He taught me in such a way that I could remember the basics easily.
I passed my test that week and now feel a lot safer after his profesional training. He is a credit to his profession and I would highly recommend his services.

I thoroughly reccommend Andy's Motorcycle Training as a route to getting your bike license. He is sole trader who with his wife Sylvie offers a personal and thoroughly prefessional service. His rates are competitive and i was delighted to be able to buy 'Pass assurance'. So if i failed my first test i would get extra tuition until i pased at no additional cost. This gave me the confidence to pass first time (And not need the assurance!) I must confess to not being an easy student to work with so Andy's patience in personality, and flexibility in training style was perfect. 100% reccommended.

I'd like to thank Sylvie and Andy for their kindness and support. From Andy for his thorough and expert traning and having the patience of a Saint in getting me through my Direct Access with a first time pass with one fault, l went to sleep each night with the word 'lifesaver' on my lips, and from Sylvie, thank you for the tea and toast and my morning hugs, they really helped to calm me. l would recommend any one to Andy for their CBT and further bike training. Good luck with the bike sales and thank you very much.

After 8 years away from bikes I realised how much I missed the thrill of two wheels under me and the wind in my face, so I completed my CBT with Andy, then immediately booked a direct access course with him. I found his training very clear and concise, highlighting the areas to focus on while all the time maintaining his friendly and cheerful composure. Thanks to his excellent tuition I had a brilliant ride on the test day, passing on my first attempt! I would readily recommend Andy to anyone looking to get on a bike, whether it was a 50cc scooter or a 1000cc track day weapon!

Andy took me through both the CBT and a direct access course which resulted in a first time pass. I'd just like to say thanks again to andy on helping me get through my direct acces, i've been riding a 125 for about 7 years and in my own mind i was perfectly safe! since doing the training with andy i can see how i was so lucky not to have come off and do myself some serious injury, i now understand and can appreciate the benefits of having good clutch controll, road positioning, cornering, lifesavers, etc.
It took me a while to get rid of all my bad habbits but andy was a brilliant instructor and i got there in the end it's almost a completly new experience riding again cheers andy!
A tip for any wishing to train with andy ask for pass assured it's well worth the extra £70 or so!
